MLB All-Star Game
Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout will miss the All-Star Game in view of back fits,
joining Philadelphia's Bryce Harper uninvolved and denying the grandstand of two of baseball's most popular players.
Los Angeles Dodgers star first baseman Freddie Freeman was added Sunday as the
fourteenth substitution player, giving the host Dodgers
six All-Stars to match the New York Yankees by and large.
Freeman takes the spot of New York Mets outfielder Starling Marte, who exited Sunday.
Trout, a three-time American League MVP, has not played since Tuesday
was scratched from the Angels' setup against the Dodgers on Saturday night.
